MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

SANDERS, District Judge.

This matter is before the Court on Stanley Keith Burks' ("Burks") Petition for a Writ of Habeas Corpus, filed pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 on February 20, 1981. In his petition, Burks asserts that prospective juror Elizabeth Williams ("Williams") was improperly excused for cause in violation of the principles set forth in Witherspoon v. Illinois, 391 U.S. 510
