A grand jury indicted the defendant for violation of 17-A M.R.S.A. § 401, Burglary, Class C (1983), and 17-A M.R.S.A. § 353, Theft, Class C (1983). The defendant's pretrial motion to exclude his eleven prior convictions was granted with regard to seven convictions and denied with regard to four convictions.
