This is a wrongful discharge case in which plaintiff, a former jail matron for defendant city, seeks reinstatement, back pay and benefits, damages and attorney fees. Trial was to a jury, which answered four special interrogatories. The trial court supplemented the jury's answers to two of the interrogatories with further factual determinations of its own and then entered judgment for defendants.
