JUSTICE CAMPBELL delivered the opinion of the court:

Following a bench trial, defendant was convicted of murder, robbery and burglary. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 38, pars. 9-1, 18-1, 19-1.) Defendant was sentenced to concurrent respective terms of 22 years for murder and seven years for both the burglary and robbery. On appeal defendant contends that his written confession was improperly obtained in violation of Miranda v. Arizona
