TODD v. FLORIDA PAROLE & PROBATION COM'N

No. AD-412.

410 So.2d 584 (1982)

Russell Elliott TODD, Jr., Petitioner, v. FLORIDA PAROLE & PROBATION COMMISSION, Respondent.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, First District.

Rehearing Denied March 24, 1982.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Russell Elliott Todd, Jr., pro se.

Rosa H. Carson, Asst. Gen. Counsel, Florida Parole and Probation Commission, Tallahassee, for respondent.

PER CURIAM.

Petitioner, an inmate at Florida State Prison, became eligible for parole in January, 1981. He was given a parole release date conditioned on his waiver of extradition to Maryland. He refused to sign a waiver of extradition procedures and the parole did not become effective. Petitioner has time to serve on a sentence involving another criminal conviction in Maryland. Another offer of parole was "rescinded" in April, 1981, for the same reason.
