Plaintiff, Harold Leonard, filed this redhibitory action, seeking to rescind the sale of a 1978 Pontiac 2-door Grand Prix automobile or, alternatively, to obtain a reduction in the sale price. Made defendants were Daigle Pontiac-Buick-GMC, Inc. (Daigle), the dealer from whom plaintiff bought the automobile, and General Motors Corporation (GMC), the manufacturer of the vehicle.
