JOHNSON, Circuit Judge:

The plaintiffs appeal from an adverse judgment entered by the district court sitting in admiralty.1 After trial the court found that the limitation of liability specified in the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act [COGSA], 46 U.S.C.A. §§ 1300-1315, barred the plaintiffs from recovering the full value of 14 cartons of cargo lost in the Port of Miami.
