Dr. Gregoroff, a specialist in internal medicine, was indicted in Fulton County on three counts of prescribing controlled substances without a legitimate medical purpose in violation of Code Ann. § 79A-820 (f) (3), the Controlled Substances Act, to wit: unlawfully prescribing Preludin without a legitimate medical purpose on November 13, 1979 (Count 1); unlawfully prescribing Preludin without a legitimate medical purpose on November 26, 1979...
