Defendant was in the business of buying and selling silver and other antiques. He was indicted for the crimes of criminal possession of stolen property in both the first and second degrees. Specifically, he was charged with knowingly possessing silver flatware which he bought at his store from one Pulliam who stole it from a residence. After a trial he was found guilty on both counts.
