The defendant was convicted after a jury trial of unlawful, unnatural sexual intercourse with a child under sixteen years of age. G.L.c. 265, § 23. The defendant appealed from his conviction, and new counsel was appointed. The defendant then filed a motion for a new trial and a motion to dismiss. The trial judge denied both motions.
