On May 15, 1977, the deceased, Sharon A. Katanik, was killed while riding as a passenger on a motorcycle. At the time of the accident, the deceased had in force and effect a policy of insurance with appellee, State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company. This policy contained a specific provisions for payment of medical expenses to the insured in certain situations (hereinafter the "Med-Pay" portion of the policy).
