Defendant was charged in connection with the perpetration of two separate robberies. The jury found defendant guilty of assault with intent to murder, MCL 750.83; MSA 28.278, and assault with intent to rob, MCL 750.89; MSA 28.284. The jury found defendant not guilty of armed robbery, MCL 750.529; MSA 28.797. The crimes were committed while defendant was a juvenile. The probate court waived jurisdiction over the defendant and allowed him to be tried...
