This case involves the builder's registration requirements in ORS chapter 701. Defendants appeal from a judgment awarding plaintiffs damages for work plaintiffs performed on defendants' property. Defendants contend that plaintiffs' claim is barred under ORS 701.065,1 because plaintiffs were not registered as builders at the time they bid or entered into the contract for performance of work on defendants' home.
