The defendant Jones was convicted of causing a stolen motor vehicle to be transported in interstate commerce, 18 U.S.C. § 2312 (Count 1), and of receiving and concealing the motor vehicle in question, 18 U.S.C. § 2313 (Count 2). He was sentenced to four years' imprisonment on both counts, but his sentence on Count 2 was suspended.
