TEAGUE, Judge.

This is an appeal from a conviction for the offense of possession of more than four ounces of marihuana. A jury determined appellant's guilt, assessed his punishment at seven years' imprisonment and a $5,000 fine, and recommended that imposition of the sentence be suspended and that appellant be placed on probation. The trial court accordingly placed appellant on seven years' probation, but required that the $5,000 fine be paid as...
