This is an appeal from a conviction for the offense of possession of more than four ounces of marihuana. A jury determined appellant's guilt, assessed his punishment at seven years' imprisonment and a $5,000 fine, and recommended that imposition of the sentence be suspended and that appellant be placed on probation.
