Respondent was admitted to the Bar by this court on July 12, 1977. On September 19, 1979, while serving as an Assistant District Attorney of Otsego County, he was arrested and charged with the crime of forgery in the second degree, a class D felony. Thereafter a prosecutor's information was filed charging him with the crime of forgery in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor, and violation of section 487 of the Judiciary Law (misconduct by attorneys).
