Plaintiff initiated this $3.5 million lawsuit against the City of New York, the New York City Police Department and New York City Police Officers James Ogletree, "Jane Doe" and "John Doe", pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983, after her arrest on August 8, 1980, for disorderly conduct, harassment, and resisting arrest.
