This appeal follows a jury trial in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Appellant Geralene Sutton brought an action against American Health and Life Insurance Company (American) for the reinstatement of a disability insurance policy, which the insurer had canceled due to alleged misrepresentations in the application by Mrs. Sutton.
