David Leroy Coulter, the appellant, was convicted under § 13-11-2(a)(2), Code of Alabama 1975, for the robbery and the intentional killing of George Morris in rural Colbert County. A separate sentencing hearing was held before the same jury that had found the appellant guilty of the capital offense.
