Appellant-defendant contracted to build an addition to the home of appellee-plaintiff. Appellee instituted the instant action, alleging that appellant had abandoned the contract before completion of the project. Appellee sought recovery of "the sum of $4,040.00 [required] to correct and complete said room addition." The case was tried before a jury and a verdict for $4,040 was returned for appellee.
