The defendant, Robert Bray, was convicted by a jury of burglary and attempted burglary, Class B felonies. Ind. Code § 35-43-2-1 (Burns 1979 Repl.); Ind. Code § 35-41-5-1 (Burns 1979 Repl.). In a bifurcated proceeding, the jury also found that defendant was an habitual offender. He was sentenced to concurrent terms of fourteen years for the burglary and attempted burglary convictions.
