The indictments against the defendant charged unlawful sexual intercourse, unnatural sexual intercourse, and indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of fourteen. G.L.c. 265, §§ 23 and 13B. All the indictments involved the same victim. The defendant was convicted on the indecent assault and battery charges and found not guilty on the indictments charging him with sexual intercourse...
