This suit was instituted as an action to quiet title to a triangular parcel of land located between the shoreline of Lake Michigan and the meander line established by United States government survey in 1851. Following a determination and judgment in favor of defendants, plaintiffs appeal. We hear this appeal de novo, Farabaugh v Rhode, 305 Mich. 234; 9 N.W.2d 562 (1943), and reverse and remand for entry of judgment in favor of plaintiffs.
