This is an action brought under the Magnuson-Moss Act, 15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq., which establishes a federal consumer warranty law. Section 2301 of the Act defines consumer goods to include "tangible personal property ... distributed in commerce ... [and] normally used for personal family or household purposes ...." The Act is primarily a remedial statute designed to protect consumers from deceptive warranty...
