OPINION

SUTIN, Judge.

Defendant Presbyterian Hospital Center (PHC) filed an application for an order allowing an interlocutory appeal. The application was granted. This Court ordered plaintiff, Richard L. Knight, personal representative, to show cause why this Court should not summarily reverse the trial court on the basis of Carter v. Burn Construction Company, Inc., 85 N.M. 27, 508 P.2d 1324
