Eagle-Picher Industries, Inc., manufactured a variety of industrial insulation products containing asbestos. Beginning in the late 1960's, and accelerating rapidly in the mid-1970's, Eagle-Picher has been named as a defendant in lawsuits in which plaintiffs allege personal injury or wrongful death resulting from the inhalation of asbestos from Eagle-Picher's products. Between 1968 and 1980, Eagle-Picher was covered by numerous insurance policies...
