Donald Ray Lottie appeals his conviction for two counts of murder in the first degree. We affirm.

On June 11, 1980, a fire at the home of Cassandra Edwards resulted in the deaths of two of her children, ages 4 and 5. That day about 5 p.m., the defendant, who had previously resided with Ms. Edwards, took his daughter from Ms. Edwards' home.
