This appeal is from a summary judgment in favor of Pilot Life Insurance Company (Pilot) and Vertac, Inc. (Vertac).1 Appellant, Raymond Atkins (Atkins), was employed by Vertac and in November, 1976, was hospitalized for a lung problem. During his medical treatment, he also developed a brain abscess. Atkins filed a Workers' Compensation claim, contending both the lung and brain abcess...
