The appellant-defendant, Harry Reece Butts, was convicted of armed robbery and of assault with intent to commit first degree murder. He received consecutive sentences of 25 years and 10 to 25 years respectively. On appeal he contends that he should be granted a new trial because he was denied (1) a proper preliminary hearing and (2) discovery of police personnel...
