MEMORANDUM OPINION

WEINER, District Judge.

This diversity action for personal injuries was tried to the court sitting with a jury. The jury returned a verdict in favor of the defendant.1 Presently before the court is the motion of the plaintiff for a new trial. For the reasons which follow, the motion is denied.
