HARRIS, Justice.

Defendant was charged with first degree murder, Iowa Code §§ 707.1 and 707.2 (1979), in the shooting death of Roger Jones. He appeals his conviction of the included offense of voluntary manslaughter, Iowa Code § 707.4 (1979), assigning three errors. We find them to be without merit and affirm the trial court.
