This suit arises out of an automobile accident which occurred on Friday, August 24, 1979, in which plaintiff-appellant, Tisa Mae Carter, was injured. She was a guest passenger in the automobile of Johnny Leonard, and while in route from Baton Rouge to New Orleans on the I-10 Expressway a vehicle driven by an unknown defendant cut off Leonard's automobile forcing him to swerve to the right into the parking lane where he hit an abandoned vehicle.
