Defendant was charged in a five-count information with the offense of murder in violation of section 9-1 of the Criminal Code of 1961. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 38, par. 9-1.) Four counts alleged felony murder in that he killed Brianna Stickle without lawful justification while committing the forcible felonies of rape, indecent liberties...
