Proctor was convicted in the district court of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor in violation of AS 28.35.030. Her conviction followed a plea of nolo contendere, which in turn followed the denial of her motion to suppress certain evidence allegedly resulting from her arrest.
