This action was brought by Raymond Donovan, Secretary of Labor, pursuant to Title IV of the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 ("LMRDA"). In the complaint, plaintiff alleges that, during the course of its May, 1980 election of officers, defendant union, Local 719 of the UAW, violated Section 401(g) of the LMRDA, 29 U.S.C. § 481(g).
