FACTS IN GENERAL:

On November 28, 1978, a large air compressor was leased by Watson Marine from Southern Equipment. Due to mechanical problems, the compressor was several times removed by the lessor and replaced with another. On May 15th, 1979, a mechanic sent by Southern Equipment to try to remedy the latest problem, reported to his superior that the machine was leaking and could not be safely used.
