After considering the numerous issues raised in the appeal and cross-appeal, we affirm on all points.

The evidence reflects the following. On June 10, 1976, Eddie Gene Griffin was on a tall ladder painting the roof of a two story house. He was using a roller hooked onto a thirteen foot aluminum pole.
