COMPTON, J.

Proceedings in mandamus to compel the Superior Court of Los Angeles County to vacate an order expunging a lis pendens.

Following this court's original denial of the petition, the Supreme Court granted a hearing but then transferred the matter to us with directions to issue an alternative writ and calendar the matter for oral argument. The order for transfer referred us to the case of Peery v.
