The question here is whether a straight razor is a dangerous weapon per se under the definition of dangerous weapon in section 702.7, The Code. In convicting defendant in a jury-waived trial of carrying a dangerous weapon in violation of section 724.4, the trial court held that a straight razor is a dangerous weapon regardless of the intent of the person carrying it.
