Leroy Atkins (Atkins) appeals his convictions by a jury of five counts of theft and one count of promoting professional gambling.

We affirm in part, reverse in part, and remand.

The facts reveal that Atkins was arrested by a joint effort of state and local police. Acting upon a tip by an informant and pursuant to a search warrant, the police removed 1040 various items from Atkins's home, gasoline station, and trailer. These items...
