CARLEY, Judge.

Pursuant to the Uniform Reciprocal Enforcement of Support Act (URESA), Code, Ann. § 99-901 a et seq., appellee filed a petition alleging that appellant had "refused and neglected to provide support for [his] child . . ." Appellant answered and asserted as a defense that he was "not the father of the child for whom support is sought, and that a determination of paternity should be made" pursuant to Code Ann. § 99-922a.1.
