This is an appeal from a judgment upholding the plaintiffs' jury verdict in a wrongful death action.

Ronnie Cowan (age 26 at the time of his death) was born severely retarded (both physically and mentally), blind, mute, and virtually deaf, and remained all of his life totally dependent upon others.
