This appeal involves the question of whether a liability insurance policy on an automobile had expired at the time an accident occurred on December 15, 1977. The case was tried by jury.

Beginning in 1970 John Gilbert Fields (Fields) was an insured under a liability insurance policy issued by The Travelers Indemnity Company on his automobile. His wife, Dorothy Marie Fields, was also an insured under the policy. Condition 1 of the policy...
