Defendant was originally charged with criminal sexual conduct in the first degree, MCL 750.520b; MSA 28.788(2), and, following a three-day bench trial, he was convicted on March 8, 1978, of criminal sexual conduct in the second degree. MCL 750.520c; MSA 28.788(3). On March 20, 1978, he was sentenced to a term of from 1-1/2 to 15 years imprisonment. He now appeals his conviction, having been granted a delayed appeal pursuant to an order of this Court...
