On July 16, 1979, Robert Wilson borrowed $1,380.20 from U.S. Life Credit Corporation and signed a combined note, security agreement, and disclosure statement. After several payments, Wilson defaulted. U.S. Life sued him in the Circuit Court of Monongalia County to recover the balance due.
