Defendant was found guilty following a bench trial of habitually causing or permitting the health of a minor child to be injured, her life endangered by exposure, want or other injury to her person, while a parent, guardian or person under whose protection said child then was. MCL 750.136; MSA 28.331. The defendant was sentenced to 2-1/2 years probation, with the first year to be spent in the county jail. Defendant appeals as of right.
