Service Finance Company confessed judgment against the defendant, Alberta Hammitt, January 5, 1981, for $21,550 for the unpaid balance, plus interest and fees, on a note signed by Mrs. Hammitt and her husband. On June 29, 1981, the defendant filed a petition to vacate the judgment, asserting that her signature had been forged; the defendant's affidavit to that effect accompanied the motion...
