Petitioner Eleanor Griebel filed a claim for widow's benefits alleging that the death of her husband on March 6, 1980, was compensable under the Arizona Workmen's Compensation Act. Because no insurance carrier was involved, the Industrial Commission undertook the initial evaluation of petitioner's claim. An award was issued denying compensability.
