Defendant was found guilty by a district court jury of a gross misdemeanor charge of furnishing liquor to a person under age 19, Minn.Stat. § 340.73 (1980), and was sentenced by the trial court to a suspended term of one year in jail, with probation conditioned in part on defendant spending six months in jail under the Huber work-release law.
