Anthony L. Chears, defendant in this action, was convicted by a jury in Sedgwick District Court of aggravated robbery, K.S.A. 21-3427, aggravated kidnapping, K.S.A. 21-3421, aggravated sodomy, K.S.A. 21-3506, and kidnapping, K.S.A. 21-3420. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for aggravated kidnapping, a Class A felony, and to fifteen years to life for each of the other offenses, all sentences being concurrent...
